Our Studio Policy

Why our doors
lock at class start

Doors close 5 minutes after class begins. It's a policy we've always held, and there's a reason we take it seriously 🤍

It's not about punishment.

It's about safety, structure, and respecting everyone already in the room. Once class starts, the door closes so the practice can stay focused for every single person on a mat.

What we protect

Four things the lockout protects

🔥

Your safety

The warm up is what gets your body ready to move. Stepping in cold, especially for higher-intensity classes, raises the risk of injury and strain.

🔥

Flow & focus

A late entry pulls energy and attention away from the work everyone else came to do, including your instructor mid-cue.

🔥

Respect for the room

The clients who arrived on time deserve a session that stays grounded from start to finish.

🔥

A calm studio

Locked doors keep the space quiet, undistracted, and intentional, the way our community has asked us to hold it.

Missing the warm up

Your body needs time to prepare

Skipping the warm up, especially in our higher-intensity classes, can increase the chance of injury and strain. Those first few minutes are what get your muscles, joints, and breath ready for everything that comes next.

We always recommend arriving 5 to 10 minutes early so you can settle in, set up your space, and ease into your session properly 💜

We know life happens

Traffic happens. Busy mornings happen.

But to keep classes safe and consistent, our lockout policy applies to everyone equally. No favorites, no exceptions, just one standard that lets every class hold its shape.

Thank you for understanding 🤍

We want every person who steps onto a mat with us to have the best possible experience from the moment they walk in. Showing up early is part of how we hold that for each other.
